Fuji/Kawamura always seems so 'eh' to me. <--this coming from the person who ships Kawamura/Echizen so take that with a grain of salt lol

He's just such a lovably simple character with a kind heart (and sometimes awesome muscles...the Dramapuri version of him wore sleeveless shirts all the time for fanservice om nom nom.)

2) He makes Sanada do hilariously doofy things like singing to him across a podium in the most ridiculously this-is-romantic-but-its-not-really kind of way.
All the stories with him in the doujins involved him beating the crap out of Sanada from his hospital bed and in one he attacks Kirihara with a fork.

Kimi's Kirihara versus Fuji was the highlight of the entire series for me. Especially how Kimi showed him going from a kind of one dimensional character with a chip on his shoulder the size of China to someone who was clearly paranoid and probably needed a bit of a hug/some therapy. He seemed far more socially inept than Tenimyu Kirihara, and yet just as violent and theatrical. I just wish he'd been in the series more.
There's one story where one of the members is trying to get him to use hand weights in bed so he doesn't lose his strength and then he rips open his shirt (on a page covered in sparkles and flowers) to show off this amazing six-pack XD.

I love Kirihara vs Fuji in every capacity, it always does such a good job to broaden the scope of Kirihara more. Dramapuri to manga are similar levels of socially inept paranoid/violent/theatrical types and fpogjkfhngkf. Yeah. I like my Kirihara's awkward and theatrical and vengeful and ♥
