When Pi comes over Kame's place, he puts his feet up on the coffee table, because that's what he does at home, and because it doesn't occur to him that his gross sock feet will irritate Kame. (Or it does, and he likes watching Kame get more and more agitated, so he can tug him down and kiss the anger out of his mouth. Kame's hands always flutter and tug at Pi's collar, his hair, like he's really angry, but he ends up smiling anyway.)

When Tegoshi comes over Kame's place, he puts his feet up on the coffee table, because of the way that it makes Kame's mouth flicker and pull into a frown. (Pi usually bats his feet away when Kame starts looking like he's going to attack Tegoshi, because that's the way they solve their problems, fingers making bruises no one else will be allowed to see and angry, pointed sighs into their elbows. Pi doesn't like the black feeling it gives him in the pit of his stomach to see it; the intensity would give him goosebumps but he nearly vibrates with the urge to separate them, but he can't.)

When Kame sits alone on his couch, he eyes the scuff marks from Pi's socks and Tegoshi's bare heels, and sighs around the urge to scrub them out. (Instead he presses the heel of his palm into the bruise bitten low on his hip and sighs around the pain. Later he will find a note from Pi, reminding him to go to bed early, and he will smile at it.)
